A premium braided line designed specifically for heavy-duty work in deep water and intended for battles with the largest and most powerful target fish in the oceans. It offers unprecedented strength, surpassing even the famous Ocea 8 series, alongside phenomenal casting performance.
- Leading Technologies:
- Unique 17-strand structure (16+1): An engineering breakthrough inspired by car brake lines. The line consists of an outer sheath of 16 strands tightly woven around a single central core. The core prevents the line from deforming, flattening, or twisting under heavy pressure, maintaining a completely round profile and significantly extending the line’s lifespan.
- New SF700 fiber from ®Izanas: The line uses the newest and most advanced generation of high-density polyethylene fibers. The fibers in this technology are 3 times thicker at the micro-fiber level compared to standard lines. This is the perfect solution to the familiar problem of multi-strand lines – the individual fiber thickness provides extreme abrasion resistance without losing softness and smoothness.
- Heat Sink coating: A special silicone resin coating with exceptionally low thermal conductivity (about a quarter that of water). The coating reduces heat generated from line friction against rod guides during massive casts and during crazy fish runs, preventing line weakening.
- Advanced dyeing technology: Shimano has implemented a completely new dyeing method that prevents color fading and maintains high line visibility over time, which is critical for managing the fight with the fish and understanding its distance from the boat.
- 5-color version (Multi-Color): The line changes color every 10 meters consistently. Perfect for fishing that requires full control of depth or casting distance in an intuitive and quick manner.
