Gamakatsu Assist Hook Sawara Sniper Assist for Jig Fishing

Assist Hooks set designed for fishing for Sawara / Spanish Mackerel with a jig from a boat. The product was developed to cope with the sharp teeth of the Sawara and prevent the line from being cut, a common problem when fishing for this fish.

• Long Shank Hook: The hooks have an extra-long shank. The goal is to keep the Sawara’s teeth away from the assist line and leader during penetration, as Sawara tend to attack the head of the jig and cut the lines.
• Zylon Line: The assist line is made of extra-strong Zylon material, which is much more resistant to cutting and abrasion than regular PE or Kevlar lines. This is the second line of defense against the teeth.
• Assist line length: 12 mm
• Line thickness: #30 (Zylon).
