The coating provides very high resistance to corrosion in salt water and keeps the hook sharp for a long time. <\/li>\n<li>Wide Gape: The distance between the point and the shank is especially large. This allows the use of bulky materials when tying the fly\/lure without blocking the hooking gap. <\/li>\n<li>Straight Eye: The eye continues the line of the shank.
